Anonymous Oct 22, BabyL Oct 25, I've used many sites for looping a YouTube video, but it it just wouldn't work. Now that this is here, it can help me and others. It's been possible to loop videos for some time, but it seems that not everyone was aware how to do it and many were turning to third-party solutions. Now YouTube's interface has been tweaked slightly to make it clearer how to get started looping.
Right-click on a video and you'll see the option to loop appear at the top of the menu alongside other options to copy the video URL, embed code and more.
Once clicked, the video will then play continuously and you don't need to worry about an "up next" video playing afterwards instead. Unfortunately, if you're looking to achieve the same results on mobile then things are a little trickier. You can also use third-party sites to loop entire videos, or parts of videos, if desired.

YouTube's website offers a simple way to repeat videos, but it's hidden away in a place you might not expect. Start watching the video, then right-click on the player and you'll see a context menu with various options, including 'Loop'. Click this, and the video will start again as soon as it's finished, repeating indefinitely.
If that's a little too inconvenient, check out the YouTube Repeat Button browser extension for Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers. Just install it and give it permission to change your YouTube settings. Now, when you're browsing YouTube, you can simply hover over a video that's playing and click the 'repeat' button that appears to the left of the 'play' button.
